Russell has been involved with the Work Wise UK initiative since it’s creation in 2005.
Work Wise UK promotes Smarter Working throughout the UK and working with partners, Transport for London, the TUC and Association of Commuter Transport Russell has been involved with the creation of a Work Wise UK Mark of Excellence which helps organisations focus on the benefits of Smarter Working. He has also developed the Smarter Working adoption ladder which is available from the Work Wise UK website www.workwiseuk.org and was a main contributor to the Smarter Working Guide.
Russell has been a location independent worker for the last 10 years through a variety of roles in the IT, Education and Engineering sectors working with public, private and third sector organisations. He is responsible for developing standards and helping organisations work towards the Smarter Working Mark of Excellence
