Assistant Information Commissioner, Wales
Anne Jones joined the Information Commisioner's Office in April 2003, as Assistant Commissioner for Wales. She heads up the Wales regional office based in Cardiff, which provides guidance to organisations, businesses and individuals on both the Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts, and investigates relevant complaints. Her remit is twofold - to develop an ICT presence which is relevant in a Welsh setting, and to advise the main office on matters of particular concern to Wales
