The construction industry in Wales is experiencing a period of boom, with the public sector alone spending �400m in the region. There are 10,000 businesses in Wales, 95 percent of which are SMEs, employing some 100,000 people in the industry, a figure that is growing at an estimated 4 percent annually. As the industry continues to expand to meet the needs of both private and public sector stakeholders, relying on paper based systems, or antiquated technology is no longer an option.
