Business Optimisation - Part 1
Risk, Recovery & Resilience (North)
Time: 9.30am - 2.00pm
Venue: Technium CAST, Bangor
Speakers: Snowdonia IT Services, Bangor University, North Wales Police
Computer security is never far from the headlines and recent research shows that 44 percent of small businesses in the UK have been victims of cybercrime. In Wales alone, around £160 million is lost to ecrime by business each year. The risks are not just external, and many SMEs discover to their cost that poorly trained staff can unwittingly be hazardous to business health.
ITWales has assembled a range of expert speakers to explain the risks; provide advice on recovery in the event that the worst happens; and define policies and strategies that can be adopted immediately to ensure future resilience, and stop your business becoming another ecrime statistic.
This event is supported by e-Crime Wales and the Centres for Excellence for Technology and Industrial Collaboration (CETIC).
